Hi,

Can you (and anyone else) see if it's fixed in 7.06?

Thanks.

Tom,

Good work so far. I tried about 30 games and all worked. Thanks for taking the time to fix this issue.

No, thank YOU for your help. Would you mind doing a bit more testing for me, just so we know for sure?

Sure what exactly besides just going thru the list and seeing if it speaks?

Ok I found a bug. Unrelated to the voice issue tho. When I select an artwork(ie. Flyer,marquee..etc..) The snap takes ages to show. It slowly fades into the image. I never had an issue before with my images. I assume something has changed.

hmm, nothings changed there. That fading can be slow on some systems, it always has been. You can turn off the alpha blending (fading).

Ok. I turned alpha blending off and anything else related to video to its lowest setting. This made gameex scream!!! But the artwork issue still remains. If anyone else can test this out. Please post here. Whats the best way to uninstall gameex and save my configuration?

The setting I was referring to is under Multimedia/HTPC.

Thanks. That fixed the issue. I've always had it set to fade. Never had any problems till now. Now the photo just appears. Either way it works. Not as pretty as before.

So far the voices appear to work on everything I've tried.

I did test it and its still working fine for me, did you change any drivers or display settings in GameEx?

I did update my videocard drivers. Nothing else has changed. I'm thinking about uninstalling gameex and doing a fresh install. I might need to roll back my drivers.

GameEx does not really do anything that could affect that, it has to be the drivers, I can't see how uninstalling it will help. If you mean fresh install of windows, then just back up your whole gamee directory and install over the top. I've yet to see a problem where the only solution was to uninstall GameEx.

I rolled back my video drivers and all is well again.

I assume he's talking about Catalyst Control Center, since I had similar issues after updating my ATI drivers.

Any forseeable fix to these problems? :)

Can you tell me whaat the drivers are so if others have issues?

I updated to the 6.11 and had issues. I reverted back to 6.9 and all is well. Ati Catalyst drivers.

Sounds like an issue with the drivers to me, so on my end, I doubt it, I would not even know where to start.

Shame ATI arnt like me there'd be a new fixed version out yesterday.
