ESCAPE WITH LETTER L

Hi, all. I have two important questions for me. I hope someone could help:

1-How can i make games to escape pressing key "L" instead of ESCAPE?.

2- Is someway to exit games with a combinations of two key presses?

1: Run any MAME game. Press TAB on your keyboard to get into the MAME config menu system. Go to General Input. Scroll down to ESCAPE, press enter then press "L". You have to be sure that "L" isn't already used else where or you'll screw things up.

2: Sure, when in the above menu system, press enter (SELECT) on the key you want to program. Then press both keys at the same time. They should get assigned to the button your were programming.
