Help with Exception Error

I let GameEx auto-update yesterday and something must have gone wrong. Now when it starts I get "Application Generated an Exception that could not be handled."

Anybody know what the safest way to re-install GameEx is without blowing away all of my configs etc. I'm assuming that it is just a corrupt file someplace.

Just download from here and install over the top. You shouldn't lose any of your current settings. I've been installing over the top for a long time and have never lost a setting.

I wonder why the autoupdate feature built into GameEx is still corrupting the software? It's been doing this for the last 3 or 4 updates. Tom, any ideas?
