- GameEx 4.01

• With Version 4 GameEx now features a DVD
  Player (complete menu and chapter navigation) with
  support for FFDSHOW, choice of MPEG 2 codec, and an all
  formats Video Player. These features have an on screen
  display, have support for various aspect ratios, and can be controlled
  with a Gamepad, Arcade controls, remote control and keyboard
  (you can navigate a DVD's menu and chapters with all
  devices) The Video module can also play DVR-MS using
  FFDSHOW (on Windows XP). Videos and DVD's can also show
  at ArcadeVGA resolutions on an Arcade Monitor at the correct
  aspect ratios. Snap shots can also be taken for all of your
  videos/movies, and this is now stable with version 4 and
  above. NOTE: DVD Software, Codecs/FFDSHOW required
• The GameEx window can now be minimized.
• Various bug fixes.
• Improvements and better error handling
  when GameEx sets the resolution.
• Should fix slow down after running
  about 20 emulated games.

This has happened to me before and its wierd. I go to the download page and all it has is the old 3.70 version. Even after deleting the cache and refreshing Firefox it still says 3.70. If I click on the link for the homepage I then see that its 4.01 but when I clcik on that it takes me to the download page which still says 3.70 Aaaargh!!

Anyone have url for the download please?

Hi, this is because the page is Cached, probably by your ISP.

Heres a little trick for you. Add a query at the end of a page name to make it frefreh and not use cache. Like this.

often this cache thing can be solved by adding

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="-1">

to your website.

Often proxys cache some sites, by adding this to your head-section you will prevent proxys from caching your site.

Great improvements to gameex. Your DVD-Player works great. It seems I have to build a DVD-Slot in my cab. ;-)
