O.K. i´ve tried to get the epsxe and gba Emu get working ; but it doesn´t work.

For example here is the batchfile from PSX

start/wait D:\PSXCD3\PS1Emu\ePSXe.exe -nogui -loadbin

Exit

When i ran this outside Gameex it tolds me theres an error and it must beclosed.I didn´t know the error?

When i´m watching thelogfile that appears in gameex theres a comment about Pause and to push a button to continue. When i do this _> black Screen and it returns to gameex.

It´s the same situation as it is with the gba.

Sorry about my poor english.

I need help.

I think i´m getting crazy

Check the "user submitted config" thread above. It's a really good place to learn how to launch the emulators. Chances are if you're having a problem someone else has had it and fixed it or someone else is doing it a better way.

It sounds like you are using another seperate batch file to launch epsxe. Why??

Tom I´velooked at the usersuggested configs and thats my batch file

start/wait D:\PSXCD3\PS1Emu\ePSXe.exe -nogui -loadbin

Exit

Maybe I´m silly but you asked me why I used this batch file?

Didn´t I need to use it?

Is there a way to get the epsxe running (maybe another?)

o.k. i`m coming a little bit closer now.

Under command line I choose the ePSXe.exe and added in the line -nogui -loadbin "[ROMPATH]\[RomFile]"

Debug is set to No

and I got a black Screen.

So I send Debug to Yes and the window told me to press any key to continue. I press "A" and it worked fine.

So I write under "send keys" [ENTER] A and set debug to No

I will got a black screen , too. I press any Key and nothing happened.

How could we go on further ?

Thanks for helping

First Turn off debug. Then do either of the following:

Set ShowDesktop to true for this emulator in GameEx (this should deffinitly work).

Or

Make epsxe run full screen with DirectX

Did you use them succesfully??

O.K. to ePSXe :I set debug off and turned Show Desktop to TRUE. And it will work. It looks not pretty good to have the Desktop before your eyes. When i exit with esc. it took a while and the emu seems to close and go back to game ex. When i start another game I see that the previus Game is still running!?

When i set Debug to ON ; and Show Desktop to false ; í will have to push another key to start and it works fine.Closing with esc works fine to. So Tom wrote to start ePSXe in fullscreen with direcct X -----How????

@sydarora. The gba doesnt´t work.I will have alook at it later.I think i made a mistake somewhere.I will reply later (maybe tomorrow)

What Version of GameEx did you use? I´m using 3.6...

Maybe you could post other Emulator settings? Like Nes , Snes , N64....

You have to setup emulator trough visualboyadvance.cfg config archive because it hasn't any gui, here's my config file:

# All numeric values are in hexadecimal

# Use TAB or EQUAL sign to separate name from value

#

# Key configuration (all numbers are in hexadecimal!)

#

# Keys values are in the format YXXX where Y is the device number. 0 means

# keyborad and XXX is the SDL define for the desired key (read SDL_keysym.h).

#

# If Y is greater than 0, it means joystick number Y-1 and it uses the

# following format for XXX:

#

# - if XXX < 20, XXX is the axis number multiplied by 2. An even number means

# movement to the negative side (on the X axis, it means left). An odd

# number means movement to the positive side (on the X axis, it mean

# right). For the Y axis, negative means up and positive means down.

# X axis is usally axis number 0 and Y is axis number 1.

# - if 20 >= XXX > 30, then XXX is the HAT number multiplied by 4 plus the

# direction: 0 for up, 1 for down, 2 for right and 3 for left. Example:

# 0021 is HAT 0 down, 0026 is HAT 1 right.

# - if 80 >= XXX > 100, XXX is the joystick button number (XXX-080).

#

# Default key configuration is (value in parenthesis):

# Left Left Arrow (0114)

# Right Right Arrow (0113)

look that I'm using a joypad to play games on emulator

I use various frontends to run emulators because I like to config them.

The most I use is Mamewah and I make my owm page of layouts and configs.

Now I´m using GameEx and try to help people for use it.

Config in GameEx is very similar to Mamewah but it not has the professional appearance that GameEx looks, also configurations files are very similar.

I'll make the same configs I have in Mamewah into GameEx.

o.K.  here´s the log. I couldn´t see something. How about you?

Hi.

There's two things I see straight away.

Your running an old version of GameEx. Its very difficult to support older versions, because things get fixed with newer versions, that can solve peoples issues. Thats software for you!

The main problem I see though that could cause you problems with a lot of command line emultors, is that you seem to have everything dumped on your desktop.

This results is very long paths that some emus genuinly cant cope with. I suggest moving these files to something like C:\EMUS rather than that really long path you have now.

Installed new Version , Put the Emu and Rom Folder on C

And IT WORKS. F++king great.

I think this would be my Problem with PSXe , too?

I will test it and will tell you
