Glitch or bug?

I've found an issue in GameEx and I wanted to find out if is a bug or not. I have a registered copy of GameEx which I use for Mame. Sometimes I accidently press the tab key on the keyboard. I normally use the tab key to access the menu in a game for the purpose of changing buttons etc. When the tab key is pressed the screen image will rotate 90 degrees. You can press it a couple more time to get the image right side up again. Once this happens GameEx slows down to the point where it cant be used. The list of categories will shift to the right then shift back to center randomly. The only way to get it working normally again is to reboot the computer. Any one else have this same problem?

It's not a bug. The performance issue is another thing. I haven't had that problem. The Alt+Tab bug is back though.

So.... it's not a bug. The slowing down is normal? That doesnt seem right because the minute you press the tab key the screen rotates 90. That is either a feature or a bug. The machine at that point just hangs.

Well the screen rotating is not a bug. The performance issue is another.

He's right. The flip was introduced aboud 10 versions back - it'd be awesome for the people who use a cocktail cabinet so I never used it. I'm not experiencing any slowdown at all when flipping so I dunno.

I wish there was a way to disable that feature. I don't intend on ever having a cocktail cabinet, so it's a useless feature for me.

The Tab Key doesn't do nowt for me as far as I know. It just brings up the Mame config options as normal.
