Now I really don't see the need for batch files, seems like a lot of work thats not needed.

I have my Control Panel Command Line:

SSF.exe

My Control Panel Launch Before:

"C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]"

My Control Panel Launch After:

"C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools\daemon.exe" -unmount 0

And every thing works fine...all CD images are in one folder, with proper naming, the rom filter is set to scan only for the required file to mount the image.

My 2cents tho

PS RC9 is out for SSF

Okay full screen is a simple matter...launch the emu how ever you like...directly or from GameEx....once its loaded press ATL+ENTER this will toggle it full screen...then simply exit it with ESC....next time you launch it...it should be full screen.

Basically SSF use's its last used settings...so if you closed it while it was in a window...it will run next time in a window...if it was full screen...it will launch full screen.

cool i have it launching in fullscreen but when it mounts the image inside daemon tools the window come up in front of the emu letting you know that daemon has mounted the image thus blocking the emu from loading full screen unless you click on it to close and ive tried both show desktop and dont show desktop inside the game ex ini any ideas how to stop daemon from showing what its loading so it doesnt stop the emu from loading propery??

thanks again

Okay this is an issue with Daemon Tools....I've had mixed results...tho with SSF I have never ran into that issue...tho I have done very little thus far with SSF...so my lack of issues carries very little weight. ;)

Any ways if you don't have the Daemon Tools system tray icon showing...launch Daemon Tools from the start menu...so that you can now see the system tray icon.

Right click on the system tray icon and select "Virtual CD/DVD-Rom" then the virtual drive you are using...then click on the sub menu "Set device parameters"

Here make sure that "Auto Insert Notification" isn't checked...then click "OK"

Next right click again on the system tray icon and select "Options" and make sure in the sub menu that "Autostart" is not checked...I'd also suggest making sure "Automount" is also not checked....personal pref tho.

Can SSF be used with Alcohol120?. Inside GameEx ofcourse.

I got ssf working fine but I am having a problem with getting the .cue files to load. Without these I have no music and little sound.

For example I have "Die Hard Arcade.iso" mp3 files are called "Die Hard Arcade 02.mp3" though 41.mp3

They are located in D:\EMULATORS\SSF\roms

Here is my cue file if you could tell me why I get the error "Unable to mount image, File not accessible" in Daemon Tools

FILE "Die Hard Arcade.ISO" BINARY

TRACK 01 MODE1/2048

INDEX 01 00:00:00

POSTGAP 00:02:00

FILE 02.WAV WAVE

TRACK 02 AUDIO

PREGAP 00:02:00

INDEX 01 00:00:00

FILE 03.WAV WAVE

TRACK 03 AUDIO

INDEX 01 00:00:00

track list goes on to 41 I tried switching the FILE line to "D:\EMULATORS\SSF\roms\Die Hard Arcade.ISO" BINARY

With the same results. Thanks for the help

Have you tried directly mounting it with daemon tools?

Right now I have GameEx in a total mess...so can't test directly.

How ever I have mounted a Sega CD game thats in that format...and all went well. There are a few diff's between your layout and mine.

CATALOG 0000000000000
FILE "Bill Walsh College Football (1993)(Electronic Arts)(NTSC)(US)(Track 01 of 16)[!][CDAC-054000 1].iso" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2048
INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "Bill Walsh College Football (1993)(Electronic Arts)(NTSC)(US)(Track 02 of 16)[!][CDAC-054000 1].wav" WAVE
TRACK 02 AUDIO
PREGAP 00:02:00
INDEX 01 00:00:00
FILE "Bill Walsh College Football (1993)(Electronic Arts)(NTSC)(US)(Track 03 of 16)[!][CDAC-054000 1].wav" WAVE
TRACK 03 AUDIO
INDEX 01 00:00:00

As you notice I have a "Catalog" entry...seems like a useless entry...file names used for the wav files are quoted...I wouldn't think this to be an issue unless there is a space in the naming...but who knows. Next I have no gaps between entry's...so basically I'm clueless. ;)

If all else fails you can always fire up Nero and create a single disc image of the game. :(

If I label them as yours is

FILE "Dead Or Alive.iso" BINARY

TRACK 01 MODE1/2048

INDEX 01 00:00:00

POSTGAP 00:02:00

FILE "Dead Or Alive 02.mp3" MP3

TRACK 02 AUDIO

PREGAP 00:02:00

INDEX 01 00:00:00

FILE "Dead Or Alive 03.mp3" MP3

TRACK 03 AUDIO

INDEX 01 00:00:00

FILE "Dead Or Alive 04.mp3" MP3

I get "Unable to mount image. This track file type is currently unsupported" Im using the newest daemon and mounting direct.

Well this is what I came up with when its mp3's.

Thank you for taking the time. This did work. Just have to make sure you encode the .Wav files into 44100hz or they will not mount. Thanks again

Yea there is still an issue. Not sure what part of the process I can take care of this or if at all.

For example the BGM is LOUD, much louder than the game sound once you get the cue files running. In die hard arcade all you hear is the music, In options you can set the BGM Vol Level but it does not work even if you put it at zero it still gives max sound. I wonder if there is a trick to turning down the output levels some where during the conversion...
