In your MAME folder (or MAME\ini folder, cant remember which) create a vector.ini file, and specify the MAME options (specifically resolution) for Vector Games in there.

You can find the available options in the MAME32 help file under Usage and configuration.

Hi

Let me just say that GameEx is an awesome frontend. Simple to

configure and a great UI. Thanks for providing a great tool.

My issue is this--I just dl'd/installed/configured GameEx last night

and I spent some time going through games (I'm using Mame32 as the

emulator). All the games looked good, except for Tempest. The image

was severely right of center and the bottom 1/4 of the screen was cut

off. I would think that this has something to do with hardware

stretching, but I'm not sure. I seem to remember the default

parameters being something about hardware stretching/full screen (I'm

at work and I don't have access to the box at the moment). I don't

want to turn this off as all the other games looked perfect, so I'm

not sure if there's someway to disable this option for certain games.

I'm not sure why Tempest had this issue and the other games I ran

didn't (I only ran through about 10-15 games). Are there other games

that have this issue? Any way to correct this?

Thanks again for a great tool and any help that could be provided.

Jim
