you can copy the Gameex folder to another hard drive and format, after format install gameex then copy the gameex folder you copied before format and replace the newly installed one this will work i have done it a few times

you need to install gameex again simply to add a few regestry edits

bare in mind this will only fix the problem if it is windows :P

I dont think its gonna do it, but you installed 2.0 of .net but did you uninstall 1.1?

yea, thats what i did first, uninstalled 1.1, then installed 2.0 from the microsoft website version x86. and with same errors. then put 1.1 back directly from your link on the downlaod page leaving 2.0 still installed.

-i''ll mess around some more with which .net version im using but i think i already tried every combo.

ok, oddly enough it mustve been .net 1.1

-i simply uninstalled 1.1 again and 2.0, searched out all related files and deleted them, re-installed 2.0 and it works great now. wierd it didnt workd the first time i did that. im thinking my first downlaod of 2.0 mustve got interupted or something.

-anyways, back to some hardcore game play!! thanks for the advice.
