cant hide or show dmd in future pinball from PBX

When im running pinballx some of the older tables dont have DMD so i use the HIDEDMD option in PBX for those tables so a static image stays on the DMD display, this works perfect in Visual Pinball but refuses to work with Future Pinball in PBX , ive trued ticking and un-ticking in game manager, even tried altering the script in the future Pinball XML to no avail, has anybody else managed to get this working? I have to use an image in Future Pinball as i cannot get FPDMD to work.
