THis is an old dat I don't believe is supported anymore that is suppose to show a list of moves for certains games specificly fighters. I was wondering if anyone knows if it works with just plain mame32. On his site it says it won't work with command line mame but with mame32 plus mame fx etc. I can't seem to get it to work with regular mame and wondered if anyone else had. I think this would be great for allt he fighting games I had.

Here is the website

probably wont work with mame32

He mentions...

t is supported by derivative or unofficial builds that add to the basic (and already fantastic) functionality that MAME provides. Two such builds are MAME 32 Plus and MAME 32 FX.

he also mentions zetaMAME32

But no mention of Mame32 (plain vanilla)

Try one of those versions and report if it still works

MAME and MAME32 are like identical twins - except one's better looking or heavier or is cooler to hang out with or whatever.

You get the idea. :)

MAME32 is pretty much always gonna follow the same rules MAME does. It's more or less a direct port with a front end... Nothing more nothing less.

Most of the UO builds keep all the same functionality that gets eliminated over time - ie, in MAMEPus! you can still put the command line switch in to skip disclaimers (last I tried it anyhow) and games that have since been removed (like that TETRIS game they took out of 0.102) still remain.

So, long story short here...

There may have been modifications over time that still linger in alternate builds, or perhaps the compiler added some commands to trigger the feature.
