also it seems that the scummvm config provided in the config section is not working, if i set it all up and test it with running the autoit file then it all works nice, but when i try to run the batch file nothing happens :S, i have set up the directories as they are supposed to be but it doesnt work.

Look at the PC Mouse Games advanced emulator config. GameEx does now have the ability to emulate the mouse with a joystick. Its specifically for use for these kind of emulators.

Take a look at the advanced emulator config, and let us know if you need more help, although myself Ive not setup that emulator.

I've just started playing about getting scummvm working, it's got it's own joystick emulation in scummvm, which I'm still trying to suss out how it works and/or how gamex mouse emu works with it.

As it stands there is a config on the forum that uses Autoit scripting but that adds backspace kills process and returns to Gamex. That setup also allows the games to be listed as roms for the scummvm system. I've looked at it but I'm trying something else first. Autoit isn't behaving well on my PC with Gamex. (I'm sure it's something I'm doin!)

Using Tom's built in mouse emulator, and mapping a couple of buttons using the scancode list for reference, mapped F5 to bring up the ingame menu for saves and quitting. Seems to work using Gamex's mouse emulator better than scummvms mouse emulator.

I've started adding the individual emulator setups *for each scummvm game* individually as an emulated game. Not as a rom like list you get using autoit scripts. I can post the config ini lines in the emulator ini topics once I'm done.
