14:27:08.76 2/22/2018: MAME CMD options: -nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -ctrlr mycfg

.

.

.

14:27:35.40 2/22/2018: Running: cmd.exe /c C: mame.exe ssf2 -rompath "C:\games\Mameui64\Roms"

From the above the option are seen but not sent in via the command line?

Looks like it does it right when it auto runs a game (demo) but not when I run it.

(demo) 15:07:15.93 2/22/2018: Running: cmd.exe /c C: C:\games\Mameui64\MAME.exe toki -rompath C:\games\Mameui64\roms -nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -ctrlr SAMPLE -volume -32 -bezel -artpath artworkgameex

(manual) 15:00:34.90 2/22/2018: Running: cmd.exe /c C: mame.exe ssf2 -rompath "C:\games\Mameui64\Roms"

If this is the correct way to do it, the documentation is wrong, or at least the info I read.

So I move my settings to:

emulator setup: command line: Mame.exe [ROM] -rompath "[ROMPATH]" -ctrlr X-arcade

and it worked. Maybe advanced mame options means option for advancedMame? If so that is horribly worded.

Sorry saw your post after I found the solution. I'm sure both options work.

Maybe. That's why its a legacy option and removed from the setup wizard now, Guess your using an ancient version?

If the download page has a link to it, that is possible. I'm a first time user. Just whet to downloads and hit the big blue button.
