Animated BackGlass PBFX3

i also use a script that starts dmdext and doflinx, i disabled it and it still freezes with a direct load to pbfx3.

PBFX2 videos run just fine, i copied them over to pbx3 folders, so same videos just a weird freeze in pbfx3.

I tried it without my script now, it makes no difference, the backglass video keeps playing. I also switched between full screen mode and frameless window mode in PBFX3, no difference either.

I have the same issue.  I see the video fine in PinballX and as soon as the launch the table the image freezes.  FX2 still work fine.

Can you post your setting for PBFX3 in the settings tool, maybe we are missing something.

The issue is consistent and happens at the same time, loading, then as soon as PBFX starts the video freezes, then exit, it unfreezes.

Was there only one version of pbfx3 released or has there been patches after the fact?

I just checked it again, no animation freeze on every table in PBFX3.

Don't worry about the starter exe, as written above, I tested it also without.

Here are the settings, nothing special too, I think.

The latest update OF PBFX3 was on October 3rd.

Yes, I tried with exactly this settings too, worked like a charm !

My BG videos do not freeze in both modes as described above.

 

BTW: Did you try to run PinballX in mode "fullscreen windowed" ? (see my log)

Fx2 works fine 
I have -  Intel i7 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 
If I run pinballx in fullscreen windowed an fx3 in full screen mode the videos freeze but with fx3
 running in borderless window they do not...

borderless window in fx3 fixed it for me.....i don't see any difference in cabinet mode....must be a conflict in fullscreen mode somewhere.
