Trying to COnfigure LCD/LED Plugin 2.90 crashes the Setup Wizard

OK, so I'm running Game Ex v14.93 and just installed LCD/LED Plugin v2.90

When I try to Configure the Plugin from the Setup Wizard - Setup Plugins, at a random point usually when I click on a Tab or change a setting I get a Windows 10 Error message saying 'SetupWizard has Stopped Working' and Windows closes the Setup Wizard.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Which logs would you like?

Thanks, spiffo.

I can't duplicate this. It might be because GameEx is running in background mode. Try disabling GamEx running in the background under GameEx online settings and kill the GameEx_Background process.

Mmmmm, Game Ex Online disabled in the Setup Wizard, also killed all Game Ex processes in Task Manager.

Still doing it :-(

I was using LEDBlinky at first, but disabled that and wanted to try PluginLCD instead, could there be a conflict?

Can you nail it down to doing something in particular at all? Perhaps try with a fresh config of the plugin. I think the settings are stored in the plugin folder somewhere for the LCD plugin.

OK, I seem to be able to setup anything in the LED Input Map Tab without a crash.

If I try and start configuring stuff in the Profile Editor Tab, pretty soon the Setup Wizard will crash.

Looking through the PluginLCD Log (attached) I see an ERROR popping up:

02/10/2017 21:06:03: ERROR @ ThreadException (Program)
02/10/2017 21:06:03: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\GameEx\PLUGINS\PluginLCD\Profiles\GameEx.ini'.

I don't seem to even have a Profiles Folder there, so certainly no GameEx.ini in that location.

Okay, looks like some bugs/issues with the Plugin itself. Ben (Headkaze) developed it so not much I can do for now. Maybe he will be kind enough to update it some point.

A thought though that it might be because the events folder is missing from the zip.

Please try extracting this into the \Plugins\PlugInLCD folder.

I've looked at it a bit more. I think the path issues (other than data.mdb) are caused by two missing folders. Profiles and Events. Please create those folders in \Plugins\PluginLCD and let me know if the problem persists.
