Not sure where I should be doing this. I have Lego Star Wars that I would like to run through GameEx. Should I put it under External Applications? I'm not sure what the Emulatar>PC menu is for, maybe PC games? I tried configuring Lego SW under External Applications and it works, however, the problem that I'm seeing is that I need to use the ESC key during the game (to skip cut scenes, get to the config menu, etc.). When I hit the ESC key, it exits the game and goes back to GameEx. Is this something I need to reconfigure somewhere?

Thanks.

In the config app, under the external app options for lego star wars; set "map keys" to false. This will disable the esc/exit function. This means you will have to exit games by using the game's menus. that should do the trick :)

p.s. you can also setup pc games as though they were roms, if you make a folder containing shortcuts to all your games. The only disadvantage is that you have to apply the same options to all the games (ie escape to exit, or exit using menus). Its a fast way to setup pc games + they are all alphabetical, & there's no limit to how many you can add. Here's my config if you want to try it; just add a new emulator and use the following options:

Enabled=True
STARTPAGENAME=PC Games
TITLETEXT=PC Games
StartPageLogo=PC Games
ROMFilter=*.exe;*.bat;*.lnk;
RomsInFolders=True
RomPath=C:\Program Files\GameEx\PC Games
SnapPath=C:\Program Files\GameEx\PC Games
WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\GameEx\PC Games
MapKeys=False
WaitBeforeKeys=4000
SendKeys=f
ReplaceDash=True
ReplaceUnder=True
Capitals=True
RemoveBrackets=True
ShowDesktop=True
Debug=False
MAPFile=
AlsoLaunch=
Command=[ROMPath]\[RomFile]
OLDatZip=
TitlePath=
BoxPath=C:\Program Files\GameEx\PC Games
LaunchBefore=
LaunchAfter=
CartPath=C:\Program Files\GameEx\PC Games\Cartridge
configFile=
ExcludedFiles=
CustomBackground=
PlayMusic=False
PCGame=False
DATABASE=
DumbyValue=
GamesIn7Zips=

(Images must be named the same as the game's shortcut to appear in gameex)
