Hi guys - my virtual cab came preinstalled with the software and I'm familiar with the wizard setup.  Pinball X front end has the DMD and backglass in the right spot but when I start the game, the table is perfect but the animated backglass AND DMD are on the same screen and the static backglass image from Pinball X is on the backglass in game. Can't figure out how to get the animated backglass onto the backglass tv.  I have my setup so PF, BG and DMD are all next to each other in that order.

What's crazier is that it worked fine and then I played a pinball fx2 game through pinball x and when I returned and selected a VP game, it stopped.

One other question - I am getting some major feedback in the speakers once the VP table is displayed (after loading up).  If I click on another screen, the sound goes away but as soon as the PF is clicked back (and active/running) that feedback is heard again.

video of the noise

Thanks in advance!

You are the VPCabs customer attempting to update to VPX?

First issue, google B2S server and screenres.txt. Sounds like you will want to set your screenres.txt with the same parameter settings as what you are currently using for PinballX if the PinballX attract mode videos are displaying correctly.

I'm less sure about what PinballX is doing to overwrite screenres.txt since it added the VP auto-configure feature. There is a setting to disable that. I just don't recall what it is off the top of my head. I would disable it though once you have fixed your screenres.txt.

On the second issue, it's not a PinballX issue at all. Think of VPX as entirely different software than VP9. It has a different physics engine than VP9, so you will need to use different settings for your accelerometer. Roughly, you would need to reduce your X-axis and y-axis gains by a factor of 10 and fine tune from there. Tilt sensitivity may need to be changed. The video you attached is broken is broken but I expect that the noise you are hearing is the table immediately and repeatedly tilting. You can confirm by unplugging the controller board from USB.

Hi - the screenres.txt suggestion was right on.  FIXED!!!

As for the sound - the table plays perfectly fine so I don't think it's it.  If i had to guess it's interference causing the noise but don't know where....

here is the link spelled out

Also - where do I find the feedback settings so I can apply them to VPX tables?

Thanks!!
