I selected FFDshow as my codec and gameex opens the emu and runs the game, but it does not create any videos. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? How long do the videos take to get captured? Thanks to you all in advance!

Are they in the correct folder? You have GameEx pointed to the right directory? Update your game list?

i have a simaler problem making videos but when i set it to make snaps make sure you choose (make video snap not any of the picture options) i got a choose codec window it worked for me if i choose divx 5.05 if i choose any other it just sat there on a black screen

it should show the game it captures on screen pritty much instantly it will run for a while then jump to the next, it will take a long time if you have a lot of roms
