Please someone help me.

I am running xp pro, done all the usual stuff-usercontrol passwords etc.First gameex screen comes on then befor it loads into gameex it says type password, make sure your name and password domain are correct. So then i have to keep hitting the enter button on the keyboard to get it to go into gameex.

On my other cocktail cab it shells fine but i have tryed everything i know to get it to work on my new one to no avail.I,ve read everything possible here and searched the net,but still cannot get it to work.

Maybe (hopefully) someone here with i,d say far more computer knowledge could help this old poor bloke out.

Fingers crossed.

Thanks. :(

is it a windows login screen that you want to login without a key press?

Yep it is the windows login asking for the password.

On my other cab using instant sheller it will just boot straight into gameex without asking for anything.I want this to happen on this machine also but when i use instant sheller the abovementioned happens.

You can configure Windows XP to automate the logon process if your computer is not part of a domain.

1.

Click Start, click Run, and type "control userpasswords2". (without quotes)

2.

Clear the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer check box.

3.

Click Apply.

4.

Enter the user name and password you wish to automatically log on with, and then click OK.

5.

Click OK again and you're all done.
