updating Game list HElP?

Well my problem is thi morning i booted up game Ex went and played some games then i wanted to get more games so i threw som more in the ROMs folders and hit the UPDATE LisT command in gameex. When i did this All of the Games dissapeared from the list... i cant get ANY of them to show up. i checked my filters and there set to let anything at all show up.. please help me

We'd like to help ya, but you'll have to at least post your config file before we know what's wrong.

I have the same problem... all I did was press update and all the games dissappeared...

I attached the config file if anyone wants to look at it.

Can you do an update then post the GameEx log.

By the way, thats not the config, the config is called GameEx.ini.

Also really need your log after trying to do the update.

Also, did you upgrade your version of MAME, or anything like that?

Oops, here is GameEx.ini also.

Yeah, I also switched my emulator to MAME32, but the ROMs remained in the same directory. MAME32 runs fine outside of GameEx.

I can see where it's failing, and this normally indicates an older version or unnoficial of MAME. Normally an old version of MAME that's not compatible with GameEx. It could also be a Beta version of MAME that has bugs.

Check what version your running. The latest stable version I think is .105 (which is newer than say .80)
