New user with 2 issues

First when I lanch GameEx my screen is flickering. I havent been able to find a setting to adjust out of this problem.

Second, when I update my ROMS list it runs for awhile which is fine but it makes it to the point saying its writing the file and hangs. This is completely locking up Win XP and I have to reboot.

To fix the flickering, go to display settings, and either set the setting to not change resolution, or set a different one.

For the update crash, I can tell you it can take a really long time to update the list. It may be your not waiting long enough. Otherwise yourll need to post the GameEx log for me to look at.

Thanks, that fixed flickering. I ran the update thru the night, a good 10 hours and it hung the PC. After turning off the verify it worked though.
