Updating GameEx

Can an option be added to GameEx to allow for "manual" updating? Right now I have it set to "ask me", but I'd like to disable that. I'd like to have an option (somewhere under More Games & Programs ) that would allow me to select it and then GameEx would go out to the website, check to see if there's a new version and then give me the choice to upgrade.

The reason--sometimes I start GameEx and I want to do/check something right away. I start GameEx and if there's an update available, and I don't want it that second, the only way to then update is to exit/restart GameEx.

Can you not visit the GameEx Homepage while in GameEx and download the update? I've never tried it personally but I do not see why it wouldn't work.
