imek
Hello, I have several computers with GameEx on it. One of these old computers goes into a black screen when I try to run GameEx on it. The mouse dissapears for a few seconds while it's black and then pops into view. I can't get out of the black screen until the mouse shows up, then I just press the ESC key and I return to the desktop. I just installed GameEx on it. The Operating System is Windows XP. The computer is old, but still works. What could be the problem?
Adultery
It sounds like a focus problem, but it should also be noted that like Microsoft, we no longer support XP so it's going to be tough to diagnose.
Tom Speirs
We would need to see your log.txt file to progress any further.
imek
OK here are the log and ini files. I had to use a USB to transfer them to a newer computer with internet. log.txt GameEx.ini
Tom Speirs
I think that machine may be too old to run GameEx. It looks like its around 16 years old. I'd give it up as a lost cause.
imek
That sucks LOL. OK I'll give up on it. But what was the problem I wonder...

RedDog
Oh my. I do believe that is a Pentium 3. I'm not sure the last time I bumped into one of those.
RIP-Felix
It was 2010 for me, I bought it back in 2004! I Got a good run out of it, but I think what finally killed it for me were issues like this.
