[RESOLVED] Computer freezes at startup when shut down by PinballX

The Computer freezes at startup within the Windows startup animation after I have shut it down from PinballX.

I did a lot of tests to find out in which cases this happens and these are my results.

this happens:

- only, when I shut it down by PinballX menu (never, when I shut it down manually - PinballX not runnung)

- only, when I have started a table from PinballX in the session - most strange observation

- (as written above) never, if I only keep PinballX in the attract mode and shut down the computer with PinballX

- never, if I unplug PinControl1 from the USB port after shut down

- not, if I quit PinballX without starting a table, start a table manually by Visual Pinball iteslf, launch PinballX again and shut down from there without starting a table (just to find out, if the real culprit might be Visual Pinball... but it is not as shown here).

My setup:

Windows 7, 64 bit

Power management setup to start automatically after AC loss (BIOS)

PinballX is setup to autostart after boot

If you need more info let me know. This is a very bad problem, because it stops me from mounting everything into a cab, because my only solution now is to start up once with the PinControl unplugged to the USB, which is of course not possible once everything is in a closed cab.

not only to bump this ;) some update.

Good news: I can solve the boot freeze by restarting the PC again and again. At some point, it boots correctly.

Bad news: as you can see, the problem still exists.

Nobody an idea, how to trace down the problem?

sorry to reply to my personal problem so late (I was really busy bringing my VPin into the cab, but now I could test this vesion).

And in short: resolved! No problems anymore since I updated PBX (and I did about 30 restarts), so: cool! Thanks a lot!
