GameEx update always resets the configured language

Hi Tom and fellow members,

Something that has been bugging me for a while is that whenever I update GameEx, it will always reset the configured GameEx language to the OS default. See, my Windows installation is dutch, but I have my GameEx language set to english (arcades and consoles back in the day were all in english too, so dutch looks weird ). Whenever I update, GameEx will boot back up in dutch, even though it was in english when I started the update. So every time I update, I have to go back into the wizard and set the language back to english manually. 

Of course I did a search and found the topic below from years ago, but no resolution was given.

Its not an easy thing to fix unfortunately. The post you mention though was actually fixed. That was something else where Italian was the default language and not English.

Hi Tom, thanks for your reply. Well it's not a huge problem obviously. I figured it would be an easy fix, but if it's not then it's probably not worth the trouble
