Version 2 Themes

I'm about to have a go at a GameEx theme for my cocktail cab project!

A few questions, before I start:

1. Are people building version 2 themes now or still using the older format?

2. Is the difference just a different theme.ini structure and the ability to use Headkaze's nice UI?

3. Can you 'upgrade' a V1 theme to V2 relatively painlessly?

4. Also, V2 themes don't appear to rotate. Is this a bug or by design? If by design, will V2 theme rotation be supported?

1. people are making alot of V2 themes its quite easy to spot when its a V2 theme if the layout are alot differents than Tom`s default theme like the avi snap are moved to another location its a V2 theme

and afcouse if you look into the Theme.ini you should take a look on the themesite

2. i belive the themeeditor puts in all the cordinates to where you put your objects in the theme.ini

3. i would say yes with the ThemeEditor its quite painless

4. that function i dont use so i cant help there sorry ..

Answered this myself. Config rotation value was being overriden by explicit setting in the theme.ini.
