hi!

I used to have all the cool mame icons show next to each game. now when i go in there arent any icons?? the path hasnt changed and i have refreshed them in gameex by deleting them out of the \MEDIA folder. but they still dont show! they do appear when i have selected a game and it goes into the sub-menu but nowhere else however!! is this a on/off feature that i missed or something?

Did you try rebuilding your game list?

I don't think there's an option for that anywhere....

yep tried rebuilding the game list... still no good. tried different themes too.

Your icons still appear in MAME32? Maybe you need to get into the MAME .cfg and check your icon path settings.

im not using mame32, never have... icons showed before though

I'm having this same issue. The icons no longer show up in the main game selection list. However, when I select a game, they do show up on that screen.

I see the same as Mike. Although, I had assumed this was the expected behaviour?...

I should also comment that I actually like it better this way

I just noticed I don't have icons either. I'm using Mame32plus and the icons do show in the GUI. The path is /mame/icons and this matches in both the "directories" of Mame32Plus and GameEx. I uninstalled/deleted the GameEx folder and reinstalled it, rebuilt/updated the game list, and still nothing. I think there's a new bug in 6.36.

Yes, I have the same issue. I expect this will be fixed in a future release when Tom sees it.

So, did a bug creep in somewhere? No ICONS in the main MAME game list? Is this with all themes?

OK, this is fixed my end now, will be in the next release.

You bet.. the thread was kinda old, so I rebumped it with my confirmation, and headkaze's too.. glad to see we're not alone and that it's fixed now. Thanks Tom!
