what made you want to write a front end for mame ,

because its taking up most of your life with poeple asking you to implement new things ect.

i mean is this your profession/your job??

Hi I wrote it for challenge and for fun, and because I wanted it. There was nothing out there like it back then when I first discovered windows Media Center. I was inspired by MCE and Game Launcher, but Gamelauncher didnt work with MCE. I looked at other front ends then including MAMEWah, but none were good enough for me.

I am a programmer/systems architect/it consultant as a job and started working for myself end of last year (this was after GameEx was created).

I'm currently on my second cab, and on my third/fourth HTPC PC, currently running on a projector in my living room with about 90" display.

Its not taking up all of my life, but a large part of it. Its not my full time job, just a sideline and hobby. It does make my life extremely busy when I have to do other work to make a living, but I enjoy what I do.

oh and i dabbled in c++

i made a small un finnished game

and a good virus wich was useless.

but nowere near your standard.

my virus tried to delete other viruses.

but

other viruses used mine as a plase to hide,adding itself to the end of the script.
