Visual Pinball has stopped responding error

PinballX is working great but whenever I try to start a table I get the loading screen followed by "Visual Pinball has stopped responding" I am running Visual Pinball .991 When tables are run through VP directly it looks like it's running fine.

EDIT: Ok it's the startup. After adding a space after "-play" the tables start, however the DMD is now off center during play, and when I try to escape out of a table it will go back to "Visual Pinball has stopped responding"

The DMD is in the proper position if I try to run it in visual pinball.
