How to run multiple versions of Virtual Pinball in PinballX?

I have tried, and tried, and tried ... and tried. I can't figure out how to make this happen. (And yes, I have read the Pinball X documentation which is less than helpful with this problem. I would be much appreciate anyone who can give me specifics on how to make this happen. Thank you.

Have you got multiple versions of VP working outside of PInballX? That's the first thing to do.

Very short instruction:

-install different versions of vp by going into the pbx setup tool and choose "other system" after vp, fp and fx2. You can define different versions by selecting nr. 2,3 and so on. There you can choose, which version of vp is needed...
