Hey Tom,

Is there any way you can make a "Most Played" list on the GameEx Live page that sums up all the last played games as they come in, so we can see what the most popular games are?

Then to make it really cool, could you make a "GameEx Most Played" in the GameEx front end that downloads this list, and can launch the game if we have it?

Or am I getting greedy?

i think thats a great idea tho :)

and mby have screenshot of the "game-Cover" or "title shot" instead of "marquees" when its not MAME

running....

Becouse as i sees it now its the normal "game Screenshot" togther with the Live "game" screenhot there are used and that means 2 game shots instead of one of the above ??

How about a "Latest high scores" list? ;)

Emph

And have a live online scoreboard within Gamex Frontend? So you could see what scores you have to beat before you start a game! lol, this is almost becoming a feature request. I do know that Mame has had some probs discerning which games do save the hi-scores out right enough.

It should already do that if you have the artwork. Is it not working?

Woah a little bit TOO much info? :) Uh Tom? You might have to cancel this little interesting new technology... for kiddie sake.

Thanks for posting this hansolo77, I'll send the link to Tom's e-mail - Headkaze

i have Box/Title/Snap arts on but it seems to me its only using the Snap shot and the realtime game shot when you isnt using MAME.

not the Titlesnap or CoverSnap is there a setting for that ?

those 2 same pictures are the snap taken twice...

Just to throw a heads up out to Tom... I was poking around in the GameEx folders trying to see if I could find a way to make my test bezel render layout work and I came across the \GameEx\DATA folder. There are about 8 images of my screenshots for the LIVE! feature. A few are rather small, like 25k, but some are large, around 150k. Was it your intentions to have GameEx store these files? It seems to me that would waste space. If they keep collecting and nobody knows about it, suddenly people will start to wonder where all their hard drive space went! If you wanted to keep say like the last 10, you might consider putting them into a subfolder, like \GameEx\DATA\LIVE or something, and have it autoerase the outdated ones.

Just an FYI incase you hadn't noticed. I'm sure you have by now though so no biggie. :) Also, can you swing over to my bezel thread and see what you think about my last reply? Thanks!

This was already fixed in the latest version.
