Hi people,

just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with GameEx closing MCE lately, I was watching TV last night & launched gameex from the start menu, but it never closed MCE, so i could still hear the tv running in the background.

Also tried launching from the more programs section, and from the start menu when mce wasn't doing anything else, but the eshell was still left running. Any help appreciated.

I have Tweaks/Performance set to:

Media Center Exit/Start Mode: Close and restart

Exit GameEx if MCE Loaded: Yes if Home button pressed

Hello.

It seems MediaCenter mode is set to 0 even though you have it set to close and restart which is 2. It may be you have this set in the theme.ini your using perhaps? Either way it should be set at 2.

Check that out and let me know

If you want to be called something other than Amos, I can try and change that :) Not sure if I have that option but Ill try.

It was my birthday today, 24 yrs old :) took me a while to have a look, had to find my bi-focals, must be getting old :)post-539-1148600710_thumb.jpg

but i got there; i changed the ini MediaCenterMode=False to 'MediaCenterMode=2' & it closed & restarted perfectly, thanks Tom.

The ini files for the V2 themes might need to be updated though, the MediaCenterMode string isn't mentioned in the following themes:

Default - Custom V2 Default 640x480

Default - Custom V2 Default 1024x576

Default - Custom V2 Default 1024x768

Custom V2 Default 800x600 Has the string set at "MediaCenterMode=False"

Also Chrisi's + Alpha theme's ini's might need to be updated.

Could be a pain to rebuild & post.

May aswell leave the name as it is, sounds a bit gimpy, but the other ones i use are no better (jimbob_82 & bullet_proof_igor) Igor was for a torrent site :)
