Hi All,

When I attempt to play some of my mame roms the screen goes blank and then kicks back to the rom list after a few seconds. I took a peak at the log file but wasnt able to come up with much. I am using the intergrated MAME emu. Is this a romset issue? Any ideas? Thanks for any or all help in advance.

Hi again ^_^

Usually in these cases it's because your rom versions don't match your MAME version and so will likely have missing files for those roms to run. You can easily see if this is the case by loading a (troublesome) game with MAME from a command prompt - the command window will tell you if you have files missing.

Another common cause of this behavior is incorrect paths, but we've already established this is not the case for you in your other thread ;) You haven't changed your paths have you?! :P
