Just a quick question, why in the hell don't you use the original GameEx logo at the top of your site? It would look much more "professional" and "official" that way. ;)

I feel I need to point this out as I know from your themes what you're capable of and that logo on your site doesn't do your work justice. Very nice initiative though.

sorry but i dont see your point really its a simple logo nothing fancy or anything its nothing people is gonna use in in GameEx anyway :P

its more dedecated to the persons there does alot of hard work making themes and getting a change to see a screenshot of a theme before downloading it

anyway there are 2 GameEx logoes one on the main page and one in the "basic" forum i was thinking og swicthing those 2 around dunno tbh dont think much about it ....

I have to agree with emph on that point, it would look alot better with the official GameEx logo :)

Nice work night, but it needs some php scripts so people can upload themes. hmm perhaps me and Tom need to help out with our web design skills on this. It would be nice to have an upload area or something.

What I would like to see on this site would be a comprehensive list of all the config files for emulators and info for setting them up. If someone could sift through the user submitted configs and organise them onto a single easy to follow page with links to any special instructions or utils necessary to get emulators working in GameEx, it would be handy as hell.

Also a brief guide on how to import the ini files using the GameEx configuration and perhaps a rating for the best emu's for each machine.

I think this would be of even greater benefit to the GameEx community since it's the emulators that people generally have the problems with, and not everyone wants to use a custom theme. But I don't see why you couldn't have the site have both services to make it even better.

Definately an emulator setup section. Imagine how many fewer posts there would be on the board! :)

If you need any help with Dreamweaver or whatnot, I'd be happy to help. Hell, I went to college for it!

But I gotta say.... If there were a step by step for Emulators that would be awesome! I wouldn't have to tell people to use quotation marks in the command line once a week!

Haha! I love GameEx and all 40 hours I dumped into setting it up. I'd love to help some other's out with guides or .cfg files or what have you to make it easier to use for those who have neither the patience or the ability to keep trying things until they work!

Great idea Kaze! (By the way - the Soul Calibur theme still reigns supreme on my cab! Ha :) )

at the moment im working on adding a guide how to use custombackgrounds becouse i found out alot either

dosent know you can do it or know how to do it ..

i was thinking on adding a Theme-editor guide as well how use that but as it stands now i dont have all the

knowledge what all the cool functions does :(

I dont know if you mean the configs files and help should be on another site or combined on the Theme-Site what afcouse could be done with some work :)
