Attract mode (screen saver)

Hi,

If I leave GameEx running, MAME eventually runs random games as a screensaver, as I set GameEx to do (Attract mode).

This is exactly what I wanted, but for some reason, it doesnâ??t exit the game properly, and eventually, so many copies of MAME are running in the background, GameEx crashes, and the system is out of memory or I canâ??t get back to the GameEx main screen.

The above is basically a quote from another user; I'm having the same problem. I'm using MAME.95 (regular Win version) and GameEx 3.45.

Has this been fixed 3.47?

Can I just install over 3.45 and keep my GameEx.ini file, or after install does all the customization need to be redone?

I am also having the same problem. However, it appears to not happen every time. Some days I can leave my MAME cabinet on all day and when I come back to it, GameEx is still running the screen saver with no problems. Then on other days I leave the room for an hour or so and come back to find that GameEx has crashed in the same fashion that the above poster has mentioned. Is there certain games that do not exit properly maybe? I should have saved the log file from the last crash to share, but that would be to eash huh? lol I will grab it next time for sure!
