i have a collection of turbografx roms i am trying to use in gameex. i find turbo engine to work well with them but i cant get it to work in gameex

i found that this is suposed to be the comand line

* Added command line support. The syntax is:

"TurboEngine [--fullscreen] path_to_rom.[bin,pce,zip,7z,cue,iso]"

i cant figure out how that should go into gameex

here is a url to the emulator http://aamirm.hacking-cult.org/www/turbo.html

thanks for any help.

Hi deepdivered and Welcome to the GameEx Forums!

This is not an emulator I use, but assuming your command line is correct, it should look like this in GameEx:

TurboEngine --fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

There's a couple caveats to that. First your command line doesn't show double quotes around the rompath/romfile part. That's pretty unusual, but not unheard of (Project64 actually doesn't work when you enclose the rom path in quotes). I went ahead and used the quotes since that's much more common, but it's something to keep in mind as a contingency.

Second the TurboEngine part doesn't actually include an extension (like exe for example). Again that's a bit unusual, but not unheard of. If your command doesn't work you might swap out the TurboEngine part with the actual name of the emulator executable (with extension intact).

If you find it difficult to make any headway with TurboEngine, give MagicEngine a try. It's the one I use (and probably most everybody else as well).
