Just finished my cab, but having video issues in GameEx

I just finished my cabinet after almost two years, a baby and alot of grief from my wife about the monstrosity that was sitting in the corner of our basement.

It is a monstrosity no more!! Now it is a real life arcade machine. The only problem is that a number of my games appear sideways on the screen. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult to play Pac-man.

I am running Game Ex with MAME 0.105 on Windows XP and the roms I have are version 0.104. Could the older roms be causing the video issues? I know that I have MAME32 (v.104) also installed and don't have the same video issues.

Is there anyway to fix this or do I need to get a new set of roms.

Jon

P.S. Game Ex rocks.

Try adding this command line option. It's set under the first option in advanced mame config.

-norotate

If that does not work, try experimenting with these

-noror

-norol

-noautoror

-noautorol

-noflipx

-noflipy
