Is there a way to reset without loosing emulator settings?

So, I've had this problem for a while (I made a post a while back) that games do not appear on the recent played list, specially for emulated games (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc, etc) I am getting to the point where I want to start from scratch, since I tried everything I could imagine except for re-installing, but I have about 20 emulators setup, I would rather not go to the hassle of adding them all again.

so my question is, is there a way to reset all settings except for emulator (rom paths, fullscreen shortcuts and all of that), maybe if I delete all the databases, will gameex recreate them at launch? would this help me with my problem?

I reseted Data.db3 and now it seems to work fine, I lost all of my favorites and stuff but no big deal :)
