Sendkeys help?

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I'm using MESS for my Atari 7800 Emulator and I need some assistance:

Can anyone tell me either:

What the command line option is to remove the GUI in MESS? That would be most favorable.

If not...

What's the way to send 'Scroll Lock' as a Sendkey?

I tried {SCROLLLOCK} as the Microsoft page told me to, but it didn't work. Am I missing something minor here?

Hate to say I don't know much about the SendKeys option, so any/all help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance. :)

I can tell you there is a command line option for Mess to do this, I did have it but dont anymore. Its something along the lines of use original gui mode or use new mode. It should not take oto much research to figure it out, I am sure its in the MESS docs. You certainly dont need to send keys, there is deffinitly a cmd option for it.

Good luck, and please post when you find it.

Well it took a little digging, but I eventually stumbled on the MESS cmd page - although it says there's a mess.txt in the distribution (which wasn't there when I downloaded it just now) you can find all the options on their site

MESS Command Line Options (Full List)

Hope that helps someone with similar problems. :)

For others - the command line option to hide the gui and menus is: -nonewui
