Hi everyone.

I have just setup the model 2 emu on Gameex and it's working well, but I have one question which I have not been able to find an answer.

When I go into model 2 in Gameex I get the entire rom list, not available roms. Is there a way to just show available roms?

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you're using a full map file for Model 2. When you have a moment, it would probably be best to post your settings so we can see whether you're integrating Model 2 with MAME or have it setup as a stand alone emulator.

The full map file was selected in advanced emu settings for Model 2. I removed the map file from the settings and no I have the list of roms in the folder.

Thank you my friend.

Sorry for also jumping in here, but yesterday i wanted to achieve exactly this. As I far as i understand, you mean if i pick i.e. Daytona from the mame list, it would start the Model2 emulator, because thats exactly what i am searching for :) .

I would like to reiterate what nullPointer said - in this instance i think your GameEx.ini, log.txt and emulator config will be important :)Check here to find them files we'd like B)

Bear in mind that I've never configured GamEx in this fashion, but the idea is that you should be able to enable the use of Model 2 using the Model 2 screen in the Setup Wizard. Once you enable Model 2 as a separate emulator, GameEx will intelligently use the Model 2 emulator (rather than MAME) when launching a Model 2 game (from the MAME list).

Ha, ha, my fault. I unchecked this, to show up in the setup-wizard :D. Now i need it and forgot about it ;). Yes, I can confirm that this is working and it is a nice feature. Is there anything more in that direction (other than Daphne and Zinc)? Like use Demul for Naomi / Atomiswave? If not, where or how it would be a good starting point to create one?
