Theme Question.

Notice how the pictures change when flipping from horizonal to verticle games.

A V2 theme could be created close to that, although I'm not sure if Tom has it so the snap image size stretches to the actual size of the Image object in the Theme Editor. But the basic layout of that theme could be done by dragging the the layout objects in the Theme Editor.

A similar effect in GameEx would be to use the snap background option with Mame video's. When you select a game the background plays the video of the game.

Right now having the artwork move depending on the screen orientation is not possible. In fact all artwork aside from snaps & snap videos are currently viewed in a separate screen altogether.

I'm quite impressed at the speed the video's are loaded and displayed in this FE, but apart from that I don't think it's anything that great. The list is a bit small and would be hard to read on anything but a monitor. Something similar could be created with the Theme Editor but I've yet to see anyone try something like that.

Perhaps a future version of GameEx will have the ability to display the marquee, poster, attract screenshot and cabinet graphics on the same screen.

I didn't like the total layout, but I did like that the screens/flyers/video could be repostioned based on if it was a vertical game or not. I thought aspect of it was a slick idea.
