I'm sure this is easy but I've spent about an hour trying to find it.

Is there a way to tell GameEx to not remap the controls if they are already set up in the specific emulator?

For example: I had them setup within FCEUltra (Nes) the way I wanted them and they work fine when launching the emulator but they don't work if I launch FCEUltra from within GameEx.

Have you tried setting up the controls when ran from GameEx? I have seen emulators configs change when running from GUI compared to command-line which is how GameEx launches it. I would give that a try. I haven't tested that problem since haven't used FCEUltra in years.

Are you using a gamepad or joystick?

Either way, I think there is a check box within the advanced emulator config in the setup wizard > advanced emulator setup that you can toggle the remap on and off for the emulator.
