Got all these Cave games and cant play them on my version of MAME

What type of emulator should I use for my Cave games to run in GameEx because when I add them and refresh my game list they still don't show up. I'm on .153. I've also tried CaveUI and it doesn't change my resolution to what I want so it looks really crappy.

Could you be more specific? There were a lot of Cave games added back into .153 for sure, but they won't run. TBH i don't think they are intended to. They are there as preliminary, for lack of a better word.

well as far as I know I have a fullset of Cave games. I also have what I know to be every version of CaveUI up to 1.3.3SP or something like that.

Also the Cave games that did show up on .153 worked there were like 5 that would show up.

For what it's worth, CaveUI is just a third party version of MAME, with things like slowdown, hitboxes etc emulated better than the real MAME devs care to dedicate any time to, nothing more.

Nothing! You keep hold of them till the time comes lol That time may be ages away yet! It may be just around the corner but there is nothing you can do

To give you a glimmer of hope though, Ketsui was deemed impossible to emulate, not just because of the hardware, but because of Cave's relentless assault on anyone/thing that tried to do otherwise! And yet, seeing as you have .153, load it up, run it, YUP! Ketsui is there! One of the best Cave titles EVER MADE, and only just 1 year ago seemed hopeless. Just hold tight man, your dreams may come true sooner than you think

Oh damn, I though something like Cave would have been top priority since I hear so much about them games lol. No wonder iOS ports were so popular!

Yes, that is why they are fighting their corner, and rightly so - they are still making money off certain titles. But between you and I - they SUCK! LOL eventually though they will realise what a mistake they made by supporting Android instead of making arcade perfect PC ports, and let their name go relatively un-tarnished through people like you and I

Oh yeah. I got one and it was so poop using my finger. lol Well I have other arcade games that I need help running right on my menu should I start a new thread or do it here?
