Wait animation not displaying?

Hi Tom,

I'm using the Default - Game Ex theme. For some reason during long waits, the wait animation isn't displaying, just a black screen. Is there some setting that would prevent this, even if I have the wait screen option turned on? I have the pleasewait.png and pleasewaitbar.png files in the root of the Default - Game Ex theme directory.

Is it not displaying at all, or just certain times, if so when?

It's not displaying at all. Even on certain Neo Geo loads that take a long time, nothing.

Its not meant to display when launching Games. Does it display when loading the news or selecting a radio station?

Ah ok, that explains it. I don't have anything else active except MAME and Arcade related emulators. No news or Radio for me, trying to stay arcade authentic. I thought the loading screen was for all GameEx/MAME "thinking", not just for specific GameEx loads.
