Hi to all, my first post here so I hope it is appropriate and has not already been covered.

First I would like to say I love gameex and after buying and trying many other frontends I have found it to be by far the best.

I do have 1 small problem though. I have a system I would like to put in my cabinet that is very close to minimum specs for gameex, it has prevented me using the inbuilt DVD player but everything else works fine except videos.

It is an old athlon 700 with a tnt2 video card. Windows XP Pro. Current gameex

I have a number of mpg music videos I would like to play but they all get green garble at the top of the screen that comes down about an inch. If I set the screen res in gameex to 640x480 it works fine but the general look of gameex, particularly the fonts really suffer.

I have tried disabling bits and pieces in gameex without success, I have also tried a number of codec packs and FFDshow and I still manage to get the same result yet the files play fine in windows media player at any res

Anyone got any Ideas? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Tom, thanks for your help, 16 bit colour does make it all go away. I just need to work out for my self if I prefer 640 x 480 or 16 bit colour. I really appreciate the prompt replies, keep up the great work. From Darren :D
