Isn't there a way for GameEx to take snapshots on the fly instead of having to remember all the hotkeys for my emulators?

If so, does it (hopefully) save them into the path specified by your FE for that particular emulator?

I think I read somewhere that you could use Alt + 1 to do this, but ZSNES for one doesn't like that idea. Instead it just removes the background images from the game.

Lots of games needing snaps, so if that's not an option, it couldn't hurt. :)

Thanks!

you can create snaps with gameex make sure the option is enabled in config

its under "Enable/disable features " Hide Create Snaps" make sure its set to yes

now when you go into gameex emulators on the left you should see create snaps this will then go through your roms and make a snap after a set time

i did this you will possibly need to go through and filter some as i got black screens and things but it does most fine.

hope this is what you were wanting if not you could always try the print screen button and save screen shot in paint :)

Also make sure sure you turn off the database for the emulator temporarily. Having a database hides the Create Snaps option.

THAT explains it! I thought I saw the option there when I first started...

Thanks for your help. :)
