How to launch pinball arcade from pinballx, help needed please

I've tried a few things but I can't get tpa to even load from pinballx. I'd appreciate seeing someones ini and script that has it working.

Just in case someone is put off helping me due to my low post count I am fairly up to speed with ahk and the like so I don't need my hand holding, just a look at someones ini and script to see where I'm going wrong.

I honestly don't think the post count matters my friend. The problem is more likely no one had tried to tackle that game yet.

I don't know ahk or else I would gladly offer some advice, I'm sorry.

I see some people have the game launching from pinballx and then navigating manually, that'll do but I can't even get it to launch. I get a black screen and can't even exit back to pinballx.

Just to confirm, are you using the Steam version? And I hate to ask the obvious, but is Steam running and are you logged in when you launch the game from PinballX?

No I'm not running the steam version.

Well that clears that up! If or when you have a moment it would likely be helpful to upload a copy of your PinballX settings as well as a copy of your log after having experienced this issue. I'm not the absolute sharpest tool where it comes to PinballX, but often times having a look at the combination of settings and log will provide some indication of what's happening.

I now have it working using the pinball arcade 1.26.12

May be worth posting what you found the issue and solution to be for future reference.

That config screen that pops up when first setting up resolutions can be a nuisance.

It was the version of tpa I was using 1.22. It has a bug regarding rotating the display resulting in a black screen with the only way to exit being ctrl+alt+del
