I installed the much anticipated update, but after adding the Model 2 EMU, I set out to update the game list. After almost 2 hours, the screen still reads:

Please Wait......

Getting Zinc Game List

What gives? Do I have to crash my computer or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you actually using Zinc? No code has changed where its stalling for you as far as I know. Check your zinc setting and post your log. Thanks.

Yes I am... Hadn't changed anything from the previous installation. I had it set up properly before (I'm quite into this program and have already set up about 30 emulators to run seemlessly)... Not sure what happened.

After I tried it again and it hung in the same spot, I crashed my tower (again...) and re-started gameex in Windowed mode.

Viola! It worked fine. Scanned the gamelist in about 15 minutes.

Aha the old reboot PC solution. I'm guessing windows or zinc.exe became unstable and the system needed a reboot. Please let me know if it happens again though.
