Custom List background

Ok, so I know I can edit the background for last played, most played, jukebox, etc. I was wondering if there is a way to edit the background for custom lists in the MAME subcategory? Mainly, create custom backgrounds for 4 player games, spinner games, etc. after selecting them from the list.

You could do it, if you would setup MAME as a seperate emulator and even then, you would need to do this for each category you want to use. further you need to create map-files for each category you want to use or seperate the roms into folders, so that each MAME emulator rompath setup ( 4players, lightguns etc.) point to his dedicated folder. so it is possible, but with much effort.

However you could create custom backgrounds BEFORE you selecting them from the list. You can change the logo files (inside of the theme-media-folder) to your like.
