Using wait for process with an external application

Hi,

I have setup Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition as an external application but it uses a loader so Gameex comes back up,

The option to wait for process is not available on external applications and Im unable to launch directly without the loader.

So how do I go about this ??

Under Advanced Emulator Options, set the process to watch (not the loader, the one the loader launches) in the Processes tab.

I have set up the wait for process before on some emulators but how do I apply this to an external application??

The option is there on the emulators but its not there for external applications.

Ahh my fault, I didn't realize you were using an external application.

If that were the case, you're probably going to have to generate a batch file to handle your launching and have it sleep untill the process closes.

You could set it up in an emulator slot and enable "Treat as 1 PC Game". Then you will be able to use an advanced config.

I didnt want to go down the emulator route as its not an emulated game and would look out of place,

In the end I managed to bypass the launcher.
